On the night of their Birthday we always celebrate with their favorite dinner

a cake just for the family and presents from each other

a little more intimate than the

CrAzY Birthday party.

Where on the sugar high they can't remember names, their own I mean,..

much less who gave what for a gift.

This was Ty's night.

Even @ 10 she is comfortable climbing up on Tom's lap and batting an eyelash or two. Ty, on the other hand, is far too cool to need his mom.

I try to pretend like I don't need him either.. but I'm not foolin' anyone!

Each Year Erin's school has a fall festival they call

Hoose-N-Nanny.

Everyone dresses up either as a cowboy or a cowgirl.

Complete with hay rides, games and a pumkin roll.

Ty's Pre-School Halloween Party.

Ty had to be a fireman for Halloween. He was having a pissy morning however,

and refused to wear half his costume. (hard to believe, I know.)

All through class he eyed the Bears player in full uniform.

Which Ty already owned. A gift from Santa last Christmas.

Which was my first suggestion since everything he wears has to be Bears.

But No~ he had to be a fireman!

After school he came home and quickly changed into full Bears gear

and spent the rest of the day as Urlacher.

Anyone interested in a half-used Firemans costume worn for 30 mins?
